  • Jailbreak iPad 1 on iOS 5.0.1 with redsn0w 9 January 2012
For this jailbreak I will be using redsn0w for the Mac to jailbreak a first generation iPad running iOS 5.0.1. Most steps are the same on a PC and for other devices such as iPhone3GS, iPhone4, iPhone4-CDMA, iPod touch 3G, & iPod touch 4G. NOTE: iPhone 4S and iPad 2 are not supported at this […]
  • Firmware Update 5.0.1 15 November 2011
Apple recently released an update to the 5.0 software. The first issue they tried to address is battery life. I was defiantly having this issue on my iPhone 4S (AT&T) as my battery would be drained by about noon every day. I am a heavy user but my iPhone 4 always made it all day […]
  • Newsstand 29 October 2011
Apple came out with a new way to organize your newspapers and magazines a lot like how iBooks works. The app is called Newsstand and organizing everything into one place. Instead of having different apps for each they are all on a bookshelf within the app. New subscriptions also automatically download in the background. The […]

PostHeaderIcon Mobile Phones And landlines (1)

This is something that people who prefer using a landline phone will always go on about. The real question is has the mobile really helped as that much or has it turned us into zombie like creatures that rely on our mobiles to survive?

Many people are relying on mobiles

It would seem that people have always relied on their mobile since the very first one was invented. It would seem that the newer phones are taking over the world as people can actually do everything on them from shopping to sending off emails to chatting online over Facebook. People do not actually need to leave their houses now that these phones are on the market.

There are many issues with this and one of the main ones is what if the phone goes missing or it is stolen from you? You are stuffed, in simple terms. There will be a lot of trouble if someone gets hold of the phone as you are going to have stored a lot of information on the phone. Too much in fact which is why criminals will always target an iPhone over a couple of older looking bricks.

You should really think about putting a password on your phone as it will help you out a lot. If you keep your bank details on the phone you could encounter some serious problems if you do not have a password on the phone itself. This criminal will do this as they know where to look.

In the second part of this argument I will talk more about the landlines and why using things like 0800 numbers, fax to email and premium rate phone numbers they have revolutionised the way that we do things.

So there you have it.
